I found this changes a lot after a short time in an open bottle. Less damp woodsmoke, less sherry, definitely some ramped up FWP. For those new to whisky, google search Bowmore FWP Taint. This one definitely has the infamous taint, but I find it achieves a nice even balance with the sherry and woodsmoke which wafts in at the end now.. Definitely a wild ride with that over-the-top floral, lavender in your face note, but again balanced nicely against the sherry and gentle wood smoke.
